The Oceanway Ride has been designed to offer participants one of the most extraordinary journeys to be taken by bike. It will allow them to enjoy one of the world's most spectacular coastlines, right here on the Gold Coast. Riders have the opportunity to cycle at a leisurely pace in a safe and controlled environment.

With a strong emphasis on fun, the event has been strategically designed to encapsulate and showcase the most precious commodity on the Gold Coast – our coastline, whilst helping to raise much needed funds for our most iconic and courageous, Gold Coast Surf Lifesavers.

With a dedicated Sports & Health Expo, entertainment, on-stage presentations and commentary from the legendary Phil Liggett, there will be no end of entertainment for all members of the community.

Oceanway Ride is creating a spectacular land-marking cycling event on the Gold Coast. This annual event will attract thousands of budding cyclists, families, first-timers and more experienced riders of all ages.

The Oceanway Ride is about creating a memorable experience with cherished moments for participants and their families. It is an event that for many will turn into a family tradition.

The cycling initiative will encourage healthy, active lifestyles and involvement with the community in a positive way. Oceanway Ride will further enhance the Gold Coast as a premiere sporting and tourist destination.
