Since 1995, the Surfers Paradise Beachfront Markets have provided a unique shopping and cultural experience alongside the famous Surfers Paradise Esplanade. The market has over 100 stalls to buy Australian goods, fresh produce, gourmet provisions, homemade desserts, hand-made fashion and accessories, and even personalised treasures. You can also watch live music performances and see talented local artisans at work.
Surfers Paradise Beachfront Markets is open from 4 PM to 9 PM on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. You can walk along the foreshore before or after you finish shopping to enjoy the gentle ocean breeze.
Every Sunday from 6 AM to 11:30 AM, the Bundall Farmers' Market brings together local farmers, gourmet food producers, and artisan food creators to the Home of the Arts (HOTA). The market is packed with stalls selling fresh fruits and vegetables, meat and poultry, seafood, dairy products, artisan loaves of bread, baked goods, fresh pasta and sauces, and more.
Bundall Farmers' Market is lively with music, in addition to plenty of food options to take away or enjoy fresh at the markets. Take note that the market is a plastic bag-free zone. You must bring your canvas bags or trolleys. There are also bike racks to keep your ride safe while you shop. And if you’re bringing a car, there is plenty of free parking at the HOTA precinct.
Instead, would you spend an evening outside, watching a movie under the stars? Movies Under the Stars is a free and family-friendly program offered by the City of Gold Coast. The program began in October of last year and will continue until April 2022 at various locations throughout the city.

Spies in Disguise is a 2019 American computer-animated spy comedy film based on the 2009 animated short Pigeon: Impossible. The plot revolves around a secret agent mistakenly transformed into a pigeon by an intelligent young scientist. The two must then work together to stop a vengeful cybernetic terrorist and return the agent to his human form.
Do you enjoy the arts? Then you'll enjoy this daily FREE activity at the Home of the Arts (HOTA). Participate in the exclusive tour led by the Visitor Services Team and delve into the HOTA Collects exhibitions. Whether it's your first time visiting the HOTA Gallery or you've been a fan for a long time, this tour is for you.
The tours begin in the Gallery foyer, just outside the gift shop. Because space is limited, please notify a member of the Visitor Services team. The daily tour begins at 11:30 AM, with an additional tour on Fridays at 5:30 PM.
Are you willing to take on the challenge and advocate for mental health? Then prepare to run, walk, or crawl up 77 floors. The 2022 Stair Challenge raises funds and awareness for LIVIN, non-profit mental health awareness and education organisation, to spread the message that "It Ain't Weak to Speak."
The funds raised by LIVIN's merchandise, community events, and activities are used to educate young Australians about the importance of #itaintweaktospeak through the LIVINWell school program. The event is scheduled for March 20, and registration is now open!
The Gold Coast Film Festival (GCFF) returns from April 20 to May 1. The 12-day film festival is jam-packed with more than 100 films, panels and pop-up events across the Gold Coast and online.

Golden Shores is a brand new three-day music festival set on the sunny beachfront of Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast. The music festival will feature various top Australian artists from three different music genres. Golden Shores Festival has something for everyone, whether you like hip hop, dance/electronic, or alternative/indie music. Youngn Lipz, HP Boyz, Safia, The Presets (DJ set), Vera Blue, San Cisco, and many more are on the bill. After all, the Golden Shores Festival is organised by music lovers for music lovers.
Golden Shores Festival takes place from April 29 to May 1.
The Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour is a three-hour celebration of the world of mountain and adventure sports. Over 2 1/2 hours of the most thrilling short films from climbers, explorers, mountain bikers, paddlers, runners, and skiers from around the globe. The 2022 Australian lineup includes two and a half hours of captivating short films shot in some of the world's most remote and wild places. The festival is scheduled for May 18.
